2025 Summer Organized Team Activities-Events

With the summer off-season being planned now with our families and the need for greater team-player improvement and skills development, we will once again be able to begin our summer off-season activities with an annual summer Team Camp. This year I am pleased to announce we will again be able to participate in the Commonwealth Camp at the Virginia Tech. It is our primary lacrosse camp option for all of our player's who will not be graduating in 2025. All of the returning players in our program and those entering Westfield in the fall of 2025 should make every effort to attend this camp as team camps such as this are a valuable experience for our players' ongoing development. Participating in summer team camps in the past have been quite beneficial for our program and our players, and it cannot be overstated as to the importance of our program's future success.
 
With 18 years of camp experience, the Commomwealth Lacrosse Camp provides high school aged boys with individualized instruction and competitive game play for the advanced and less experienced players. Enrollment is open to individuals and all members of our program. We (WHS Coaching Staff) highly recommend this camp for all of our players and all incoming Freshman (2029's) who will be coming into the Westfield Bulldogs lacrosse program during the 2025-2026 school year. Once again Coach Polizzotti plans on attending and working as a camp counselor at this camp.
 
The Commomwealth Lacrosse Team Camp is committed to providing elite instruction from experienced and accomplished adult coaches including some of the WHS coaching staff and a typical camp day consists of three sessions. The morning sessions are largely reserved for individual development and fundamentals by position, afternoons are for the teaching of team concepts, and the evenings will be filled with full field competition. Also, full written player evaluations will be provided by Coach Polizzotti at the conclusion of camp.

The Bulldogs who have attended this camp in the previous years have found it to be an outstanding experience and helped them immensely with development and competition.
