SYA 2015 Fall Clinic Westfield HS Day:

As part of the Bulldogs lacrosse program it's time to give back to the community and perform a little community service. Mentioned to the players and posted on the website calendar weeks ago, SYA is hosting youth clinics and the Westfield HS day to assist, demonstrate and run through drills is this Sunday, 9/28, 4:30-6:00. The location has been changed to Pope's Head Park in Fairfax Station. All upperclassmen (10th-12th) are expected to attend and volunteer, the more support we have the better our program looks (I've been informed CVille had terrific attendance). My understanding is you will get community service credit hours if needed!

Pope's Head Park: 5635 Revercomb Ct., Fairfax Station, VA 22039. Again, the start time will be 4:30pm.

Here are the directions to the field: Popes Head Park (5635 Revercomb Court, Fairfax, VA)

§ From Route 28. Take I-66 East. Take the Fairfax County Parkway (Rte 7100) south to Popes Head Road; turn right onto Popes Head Road and travel approximately 0.125 mile. Turn left onto Revercomb Ct. The park is on the left; the fields are numbered 2-4 starting at the left. Make sure you take the Revercomb entrance, because there are 2 parks and it is somewhat confusing. They will be using the last fields on the left.

2014 Clinics:

* The first project we'll be a part of in the 2014/2015 school year is: SYA Youth Lacrosse Clinics

* This project is primarily designed for All Players

* Click HERE to Register as a Volunteer; once in the registation system, select assistance coach and any age group

* Complete the Form and Email Coach Polizzotti w/ the Dates you’ll participate (please consider at least 2 clinic dates each)

* All Participants Will Receive Community Service Hours if/as Needed For School

Directions to SYA Sports Park: Located on Bull Run Post Office Road in Centreville

Route 29 South of Bull Run Elementary School and Pleasant Valley Road. Turn right at the traffic light onto Bull Run Post Office Road. Follow Bull Run Post Office Road for approximately 2 miles (there are several sharp curves). Look to your left for the gravel parking lot for SYA Sports Park. There will be a left hand turn lane at the entrance. When you pull in, turn to the right and the fields will be in front of you.
