10/29/2025

Need a new stick and you're trying to figure out what head you should use or if you're new to the sport and have no idea, the following is a great resource for Maverik heads...

Also, if you are a new player PLEASE be cautious buying beginner and-or the CHEAPEST sticks sold at Dicks Sporting Goods and etc., they tend to create "whip" right away and make it difficult to use-pass with and-or shoot successfully. The following video is a great resource to help you with learning about lacrosse sticks and the stick selection; which is extremely important for new players to have a better experience in learning the game and improve your skills...

Another thing you can do, is to ask the more experienced players their opinions on sticks and stringing options as our captains and seniors would be a great resource, so if you're a midfielder ask one of the older midfielder's or an attackman ask one of the attackmen their preference and so on!

Remember, as sent out to all players via email and posted on our website under "tryout information"...
