An exciting announcement that will be huge for our lacrosse-athletic community. The American Boy Fall Brawl!!!
A former lacrosse coach at Centreville High School and here at Westfield, tragically lost his son Matt two years ago to a long struggle of the disease of addiction. In his honor, Centreville is going to host a powerhouse lacrosse event right here in Northern Virginia with the hope this will become an annual event.
This lacrosse Fall Brawl and Clinic will be October 20th, 2019 at Centreville High School featuring the Division One Men’s Lacrosse teams of Notre Dame, Colgate and Princeton. Equally exciting, the players have agreed to run a clinic that will be position specific. Spots will be limited. This is an immense learning opportunity for our players.I want very much for us to show a strong community in support of this event. Tickets can be purchased in a few weeks at The American Boy website and Eventbrite.
This is not just an event for lacrosse, this is a family event of speakers and reminders that addiction has no demographic. These dynamic players are sending a clear message to our students in their willingness to play in these exhibition games, let’s respond with a strong attendance illustrating our support. Presented by The American Boy Foundation and The Matt Megale Scholarship Fund.
