2024 Team Awards

2024 Varsity Team Awards: 
 

➢   Coaches Award – Excellence in Play:  Presented to the teammate who consistently brings commitment, competitiveness, dependability, enthusiasm and exemplary play to the practice field and games. He does whatever is needed and the best for the team, constantly striving to win while improving both himself and his teammates.
○     2024: Walter Tiss - Class of 2024


 


➢   Coaches Award – Most Improved: Presented to the teammate who will have increased his impact on the team in a positive way from the beginning to the end of the season. Although primarily accomplished by improving the overall skill level of play, other factors, such as attitude and coachability are critical in determining this award winner. He too is committed to excellence, while never wavering in energy and support for the program’s success and his teammates.
○     2024: Ben Marques - Class of 2026


 


➢   Coaches Award – Most Spirited: Presented to the unsung teammate who is always ready and excited to play, who consistently brings enthusiasm and competitiveness to the practice field and games, who embodies and reflects positive leadership, the spirit of encouragement and continued passion in times of adversity and-or regardless of the situation. He too is committed to excellence, never wavering in energy, support and hope for his teammates and the team to reach the expectations of success.
○     2024: Casey Konchar Attack/Midfield - Class of 2025


 


➢   Defensive Player of the Year: Presented to the outstanding defensive teammate who exemplifies the talent, dedication, tenacity, skills and leadership necessary to take on the oppositions best while leading us on the defensive end of the field.
○     2024: Brendan Partridge, Defense - Class of 2024

 
 


➢   Offensive Player of the Year: Presented to the outstanding offensive teammate who exemplifies the talent, dedication, tenacity, skills and leadership necessary to take on the oppositions best while leading us on the offensive end of the field.
○     2024: Davis Collinsworth, Attack/Midfield - Class of 2024

 
 


➢   Most Outstanding Player: Presented to the most outstanding all-around and valuable teammate who exhibits and represents the on-off the field talent and character which make not only great players, but great young men.

 ○     2024: Kennedy Duda, Defense - Class of 2025

This is awarded based on the players 3rd quarter GPA (27 players out of 50 in the program = 54%)
